Choose hardwired when you want a finished built-in look
Hardwired sconces feel cleaner because there is no visible cord. They are best for renovations, new junction-box locations, bathrooms, hallways, and long-term room plans.
For US homes, professional electrician installation is recommended unless your installer confirms the fixture and wiring setup is appropriate.
Choose plug-in when flexibility matters
Plug-in wall lights are easier for renters, bedsides, reading corners, and rooms where you do not want to open the wall.
The tradeoff is visual: you need to plan the cord route, outlet location, switch access, and whether the cord works with your furniture layout.
Before you order
Check the product page for installation type, voltage notes, size, projection, cord planning, and available variants.
If you have an older outlet or a special plug need, contact support before checkout. Custom adaptation may be possible with extra cost when required.
